Soroptimist International of Salt Lake Deadline: November 15, 2017 Requirements: Open to high school sophomores, juniors and senior women (14-17 years of age). Eligible applicants are young women who have demonstrated initiative in both identifying a problem and trying to solve it, and who have had significant and noteworthy accomplishments as volunteers. Applicants need to write an essay up to 750 words in which they indicate where they volunteer and why. Additionally, applicants must describe the goals of the organization where they volunteer and its impact on the problem(s) it addresses. Wells Fargo Scholarship Program for People with Disabilities Deadline: November 28, 2017 OR when 700 applications have been received, whichever comes first The Wells Fargo Scholarship Program for People with Disabilities is designed to help people with disabilities obtain the education or training necessary to succeed in the career path of their choice. To apply, you must have an identified disability (defined as someone who has, or considers themselves to have, a long-term or recurring issue that impacts one or more major life activity).
